Highlights of Presentation and Discussion Items


The following items were presented to the Board:
Finance Report: As of January 31, 2018 the Board learned the system is at 73.98%  percent for the budget year. The Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax revenues for December 2017 were up 5.97 percent from 2016 collections and up 16.16 percent from last month. A financial statement, investment reports, and bond summaries were also shared, as well as a detailed capital projects analysis. 
Construction Update: Tom Wening, Director of Construction, presented the current Capital Program timeline showing the existing status for the renovations at various elementary, middle and high schools as well as updates on new construction.  Click here  for the presentation.
Digital Citizenship - Jason Naile, Director of Instructional Technology and Media, and Kristen Deuschle, Media Specialist on Special Assignment, presented Digital Citizenship to the BOE.  Kristen has created Digital Citizenship Scope and Sequence for Elementary, Middle and High Schools.  Click here for the presentation.

The following items were approved:

Adoption of Employee Work Calendars for 2018-2019: The Board approved by unanimous vote to adopt the Employee Work Calendars for 2018 - 2019.  See the calendars attached here.
